Bulldog Skin Video

Suprised to find 1997's Bulldog Skin video on You Tube, the only Guided By Voices music video on there. It's not my favorite of the bunch but it is damn funny. The clip is certainly the most conventional (and likely expensive) GBV video- the only one with a plot, I think. And Bulldog Skin is a little too reminicent of Van Halen's Hot For Teacher video to be a coincidence. Otherwise, it's a lot of fun. Keep an eye out for the brutal moshing of Larky Parka (ouch!), the only video appearance of GBVerde (when Bob hired the entire band Cobra Verde to be the new GBV), a variety pack of Bob stage moves and Doug's maxiumum riffage. I was also getting Vietnam flashbacks to a Marilyn Manson show back in the mid-90's where my glasses were ground into dust beneath the boots of a hundred violent Goths. Traumatic!
