Jim Greer "Artifical Light" Book Tour


Went on Amazon a while back and apparently I now have something called a Plog. And in that Plog was this announcement from Jim Greer, as is his wont. Greer is a former editor/writer for Spin magazine, turned Guided By Voices bassist from '94-'96, turned author and biographer of GBV in Hunting Accidents. Rumor also has it that Greer may be collaborating with Robert Pollard and acclaimed director and Bob fan Steven Soderbergh on a big screen rock musical.

Haven't read the book, but I'll prolly go to the San Francisco reading just for shits and giggles (by the way, Artificial Light is also a song by Robert Pollard from the excellent solo LP Waved Out). Here is the announcement...
